Oprah is a film Actress, philanthropist, talk show host,and television producer.
Billionaire Oprah Winfrey has hosted her own internationally popular talk show since 1986.
She was named Rosa Louise McCauley by her parents, James and Leona Edwards McCauley.
She married Raymond Parks on December 18, 1932. She was a dress maker and he was a barber
Rosa was known as the "Mother of the Modern Day Civil Rights Movement."
She was once arrested and fined for disobeying the city’s racial segregation laws.
Rosa Parks died at home on October 24, 2005.
She was 92 years old, and was previously diagnosed with dementia.
Rosa Parks was born in Tuskegee, Alabama on February 4, 1913.
Martin Luther King, Jr. was born Michael King, Jr. on January 15, 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was a very bright student who graduated from high school when he was fifteen years old.
Michael King, Jr. became Martin Luther King, Jr. when changed his name.
During these days of boycott, King was arrested, his home was bombed, he was subjected to personal abuse, but at the same time he emerged as an African America leader of the first rank.
Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated on April 4th 1968.
One of the top American boxers.
At the age of 12 he discovered his talent for boxing through an odd twist of fate, when his bike was stolen.
In 1956 Ali won the Golden Gloves Championship for novices in the light heavyweight class.
In 1960, Ali won a spot on the U.S. Olympic Boxing Team.
He decided to join the black Muslim group, the Nation of Islam, in 1964.

At first he called himself Cassius X, but then settled into the name Muhammad Ali.
