Dr. Kaplan Invented the Epipen, the ComboPen the PneumoPak and the first emergency medical kit for the Apollo Moon Missions.
Today I will be talking about the Inventor of the Epipen Sheldon Kaplan
What His Inventions Are Used For
After finishing his postdoctoral training in 1977, Dr. Kaplan joined the faculty at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics, he became the cheif of the infectious Disease Service at the Texas childrens Hospital in 1987. He also worked at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Centre, where he peformed mechanical design and structual analysis of hardware for meteorological and scientific satelites.
Sheldon was born in 1939 on the 6 June, at the beginning of World War Two in Everet, MA.

Epipen-The Epipen originally comes frome the ComboPen and is used if a person has a serious Allergic Reaction and needs treatment fast.
ComboPen-The ComboPen is a product develped for Military treatment for exposure to nerve agents.
