Fashion and Art Experiences
As part of my passion for fashion, I usually attend exhibitions, fashion shows...when I can
For me, art is a way of relieving myself, and a way of expressing what I feel every moment.
It was a wonderful experience, in which I got to see diferent pieces of clothes designed and made by Givenchy, and I also got to see some of the clothes which some well known people wore in the past, such as... Jackie Kennedy or Audrey Hepburn.

CIBELES MBFW (Feb.2015)
It was my first time going to a fashion week. It was a wonderful experience, and what started as a good experience, ended better when I got invited to enter the ´´Desigual´´ fashion show.
It was a really colorful fashion show, in which I enjoyed and loved all the A/W 2016 collection.
It was a experience I won't ever forget, and I hope in the future my designs will be walking down in the runaway on models.

MY EXPERIENCE AROUND THE WORLD
MY TRAVELLING EXPERIENCE
My childhood is summarized in travelling. Besides being borned in England, with parents from Brazil and Spain, I have spent my life living in other countries.
My mother is from Brazil. She was borned in Rio de Janeiro, so part of me is brazilian.
I lived in Brazil for a year, when I was 8 years old. It was an amazing experience, besides from being with my family most of the days, I improved my portuguese skills, which I already had learned from my mother when I was a child.
Spain, is the country where I've spent mos of my life.
I must say that spanish is my first language. Athough I've lived in some other countries, Spain is always the place I've returned.
I lived in Qatar for 2 years.
During these years, I travelled more than anything, and I got to coexist with diferent cultures and improve my skills at what I love most....Music and Art
The place where I was borned...the place where my parents got married...the place where I lived my first 4 years of life....THE PLACE WHERE ALL STARTED
In all the places I've been, and lived, I've seen different ways of dressing up....and I can say that clothes make part of us....they describe our personality...but mostly...they are us.
What I've learnt from coexisting with different cultures is that, it doesn´t matter what you dress, because if you like it...go ahead and wear it. You make fashion....and not others who dress what is fashionable and everyone wears.
In this country what you see mostly is people wearing the same... and what I mean by wearing the same, I mean that they wear their religious clothing...burkas.
You can also see people wearing normal clothes, but you can see that they wear them with their own style, because there's such a mixture of cultures that you can see people wearing hindu clothing...burkas....designer clothes, etc... .
This is what happens when there's a mixture of culture....you have to create your own style.
In Spain you can't see a variety of clothing, as you can see in countries where there's a mixture of culture.
You can see people wearing what everyone wears....for example: In my school this year's trendings are: Nike air force 1, ripped jeans and Brandy Melville's t´shirts. In my school you can see most of the girls wearing this, and then is when you see that they don't have a personality.
I dress for school they way I want... and the way I like, because I don't like to be a kind of robot which wears every year what is trending...I like to make my own style.
The traditional clothes here are the flamenco dress, which I love and it's really beautiful. That's what I like most about spanish culture...the food, the flamenco clothing, and the flamenco dance.
Brazil is fun, sun, samba, carnival, and beach.
You can see all of this reflected on their clothing...and you can also see that they have a personality that makes them wear what they like, no matter what people thing...for example: on the beaches, women wear bikinis no matter what their body looks like...they are happy in their bodies and they dress what they want.
They also have different things that for me are absolutely fascinating...when I go to Brazil, I alaways try to buy a pair of Melissa shoes (which are made of plastic and have a really good smell) and a bikini (they are full of colour and they are ery different from the ones you can buy in Spain or in any other place in the world).
What describes them best is....CREATIVITY...and I'm proud of carrying this creativity in me, since I'm half brazilian. You can see this creativity on carnival time, with those spectacular sceneries they make for the parade....but mainly....you can see this creativity on the clothes they wear....they are just amazing.
I don't know much about their type of clothing, because I lived there when I was small child, and what I was always thinking was, about playing with my barbie dolls and dressing them up...so I didn't put my attention on seeing how people wore clothes.
From the times I've been there after leaving to Spain, I could say that they also use their personality to dress. You can see people dress what they like and what they want. And that's what I like most in fashion...I love to see how people dress with their personality.
SOME OF MY ACADEMIC RECORD
MY FIRST PIECES OF ART
THE ENTRANCE OF MY SCHOOL
My class and I had to draw the entrance of our school in 30 min. We had to do it for our school video...
(Newton International School Qatar)
AGATHA RUIZ DE LA PRADA
Her designs are crazy, wonderful, funny...they are amazing.
I love her creativity, and her designs. She has a special way of creating clothing, and that's what I love the most.
Her fashion shows are full of colour, weird designs, always getting the attention of everyone.
When I was a child, I walked the runaway for her, on a private fashion show....I also have the sketch of a dress she designed for me. She also designed a velvet dress for my mother that I use now that I've grown up.
I love her taste for fashion, and always when I can I buy something from her store.
It's just amazing how a person can get that much creativity from a pencil onto a paper, and then transforming that design into a real piece of clothing.
She just turns clothing into something funny.
What I love most about Coco Chanel is that she made a huge revolution of fashion, creating pieces of clothing unique and that made women beautiful and elegant.
The change she made on fashion was huge, but it was worth it, because nowadays we still keep a part of her fashion with clothes such us the little black dress.
She made black funeral clothes be a part of a woman's wardrobe and make them elegant and beautiful. All that she ever wanted was women to be unique, and she achieved it by making new clothes, and letting women wear more boyish style clothing, such us trousers or the short haircut inspired on men's haircuts.
She made a revolution on fashion when women were starting to change their lives.
WHEN IT COMES TO FASHION....I WILL ALWAYS BE UNIQUE....BECAUSE FOR ME....FASHION IS THE PERSON WHO IS WEARING THE PIECE OF CLOTHING
I HOPE YOU HAVE ENJOYED THIS JOURNEY
