Olmec culture lived during the Middle Preclassic period, roughly from 2500 BC to 200 AD, for example, “La venta" was the most important ceremonial center and oldest culture.
PERIOD OF LIVING
GEOGRAPHY UBICATION
The Olmec culture was located in Mesoamerica, in the states of Veracruz and Tabasco.
This region was rich in humus soil and very thick.
The word "Olmec" means "people of the region of the rubber".

WRITIING AND NUMBERS
The Olmecs were the first culture that devolops writing, was discovered in 2006 in San Lorenzo is a set of 62 symbols.

IMPORTANT ACTIVITIES
