Sony is a Japanese multinational corporation based in Kōnan Minato, Tokyo, Japan.
It is a big business, primarily focused on electronics, games, entertainment and financial services.
Since it was established shortly after WW2, Sony has introduced revolutionary products, including the radio, the television, the VCR, the CD player, the Walkman, and the PlayStation.
Sony's first innovation was a wooden rice-cooker that failed.
Sony affects society through Music, Movies, Electronics, Banking, Life Insurance, and Gaming
- One of the most influential products is the play station.

Sony's most successful company is the Sony electronics earning 66.86% of Sony's total revenue.
Sony's least successful company is its financial services earning 6.24% of the income.
Sony has announced that they would like to rebuild their electronics business, especially in the sales of Televisions.
They also announced that they would like to build up their film business further.
And, above all, they would like to accelerate their innovation.

Some of Sony Music's labels are Columbia Records and RCA Records.
Artists under the RCA contract include Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Gavin Degraw and Pitbull.

SONY pictures television is a global leader in entertainment.
Some of its shows include: Shark Tank, Breaking Bad, Jeopardy, Dr. Oz.
SONY Television is found in over 22 languages.
They also have a digital network known as Crackle.
Sony's highest grossing movie was Spider-Man earning $403.7 million. Following it was Spider-Man 2, 3, Skyfall, and The Amazing Spider-Man.
