When someone uses text, IM, Email, chat rooms, blogs, social networks or other technology to deliberately hurt or humiliate another person
When you pretend to be someone else to intentionally hurt someone else
Posting photos of someone without his/her permission
Spreading rumors to ruin someone else’s reputation
Digital actions create REAL life consequences
A. Teens have been expelled from school
B. Denied college acceptances
C. Arrested for threatening a classmate
D. Rejected for a job position
E. Blamed for ruining reputations
BREAK THE CYCLE!
Tell a trusted adult immediately!
Do not physically fight back!!
Be proud of who you are!

Start to bully others

Set Privacy Settings to "Only Friends"
Don't add friends you don't know.
Delete friends you don't know.
Regularly Google yourself and check for text and images that don't reflect who you are.
