Both of these have been successfully in practice since 1960.Management information systems are regarded as a subset of the overall internal controls procedures in a business, which cover the application of people, documents, technologies, and procedures used by management accountants to solve business problems such as costing a product, service or a business-wide strategy. Management information systems are distinct from regular information systems in that they are used to analyze other information systems applied in operational activities in the organization. The General Problem Specific Problems 1.How will the MIS department aggregates information, monitors the Capitol’s operations and enhances communication in every Department? 2.The MIS department is having a problem in retrieving data from one department to an other department.
3.How will the MIS department helps in centralization of Information within the Capitol? The Rizal Provincial Capitol is having difficulties when it comes to network security, network connection, loss of data, and data retrieving. This proposal will focus on enhancement of the MIS department of Rizal Provincial Capitol, the location and layout of the MIS department will also be discussed, illustrates the connection of network and its security and the organizational chart of the proposed management to handle the section will also be considered and taken into account. •Data Retrieving
•Data Analysis Other matters not stated in the scope will not be inclu-ded in the course and scope of the proposal. The capa-bilities of the system implemented will depend on the availability of the resources of the department. He is responsible in planning, execution and closing project. He also supervises and coordinates all the activities in the project. He modifies the existing software in order to adapt it to new hardware and improve the performance. He also analyzes information, determine, recommend and plan installation of a new system or modification of an existing system. He is responsible for keeping the network functioning at optimal levels. This includes the internal network (LAN), a company-wide network that encompasses multiple locations (WAN) as well as the connection with the outside connections. His duty is to manage server maintenance and backup, email administration, assigning and maintaining user logon and access privileges, the actual hard-wiring of jacks and workstations and protecting internal users from outside threats, including hackers, viruses, spyware and malware. He is responsible for storing and filing completed information and maintaining records of work tasks and completed documents. Provides client support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium. Identify and correct or advise, on operational issues in client computer systems. Perform creation of new accounts using company provided software tools.
