Blended Learning creates an environment for small group instruction and incorporates the use of technology to give every student an opportunity to have more personalized learning.
In a typical classroom, most students are forced to move on to the next concept when the whole class moves on, not when they are ready. Blended learning allows for:
student-centered learning
personalized learning (individualized learning)
competency-based learning (mastery-based learning)
