Lipid = Trigliserida

Trigliserida --> Gliserol + Asam Lemak

Gliserol menuju HATI
Asam lemak menuju jaringan adiposa

Pemecahan Gliserol menjadi Gliseraldehid
3 Phosphat (G3P) :
1. Lipolisis TGs --> Gliserol
2. Fosforilasi --> Gliserol 3 Phosphat
3. Dehidrogenasi --> Dihidroxyacetone Phosphat (DHAP)
4. Isomerisasi --> Gliseraldehide 3 Phosphat
Degradasi
Acyl KoA menjadi Acetyl KoA
Jika jumlah atom C Acyl CoA ganjil maka akan diubah menjadi propionil CoA



D-methylmalonyl CoA mengalami racemized mejadi L-methylmalonyl CoA
L-Methylmalonil CoA mengalami rerrangement intramolecular menjadi Succynil CoA
Trigliserida dipecah menjadi gliserol dan asam lemak
pemecahan gliserol ada 3 tahap yaitu: fosforilasi, dehidrogenasi, dan isomerisasi.
sedangkan pemecahan asam lemak ada 3 tahap yaitu: aktivasi asam lemak, transportasi, dan degradasi acyl CoA.
jika atom C pada acyl CoA berjumlah ganjil maka akan dihasilkan suksinil CoA.
