Do not touch instruments unless you are given permission
Come Prepared to Learn
This is not your social hour -
but you'll have so much fun!
Participate, Participate, Participate!!
Treat instruments with care
Walk in quietly.
No talking in the halls
and no talking as you
enter the room.
Please leave any "baditude" at the door!
Sit in your assigned seat.
There is NO SLOUCHING, LYING DOWN or
PUTTING YOUR HEAD DOWN. These are signs of disrespect and can result in an minor.
You are not allowed to leave your seat
unless you have permission to do so.
Complete seat work in silence.
Complete group work quietly.
I'll always let you know if you can work
with a friend.
Use good posture when singing!
Sitting tall or standing straight
makes you sound even better!
When I Say, "Give Me Five"

The Music Room is a
"No Whining Zone"
Even though the school rule is that you don't go to the bathroom during your arts classes, I will let you go when necessary. Please:
1. Raise your hand and ask permission.
2. Sign out on the bathroom sheet.
3. Take Hall Pass with you.
4. Do not disturb the class when you return.
Attitude is everything!
Whether you think you'll enjoy this class,
or whether you think you'll hate this class,
Your attitude determines your happiness.
I have high expectations for your success - you are so awesome! I won't accept anything less - and neither should you!
