Pokemon History
The history of the Pokemon
media franchise spans over two decades from when work began officially on the first game to now, and has roots even older. Through time pokemon has grown from a thought of a kid to a nationally known known game.
Types of Pokemon
Generation one Pokemon's are used in the games: FireRed, LeafGreen, Blue, Red,and Yellow Versions.
This water type Pokemon is called Squirtle and it evolves into Wartortle and Blastoise.
This fire type Pokemon is called Charmander and it evolves into Charmeleon and Charizard.
This grass type Pokemon is called Bulbasaur and it evolves into Ivysaur and Venasaur.
Generation two pokemon's are found in Gold, Silver, Crystal, HeartGold, and SoulSilver versions.
This grass pokemon is called Chikorita and it evolves into Bayleef and Meganium.
This fire type pokemon is called Cyndaquil and it evolves into Quilava and Typhlosion.
This water type pokemon is called Totodile and it evolves into Croconaw and Feraligatr.
Generation three Pokemon's are found in Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Versions.
At the beginning of every pokemon game, you get to choose from three different types of Pokemon. They are fire, water, and grass types, but they are not the only ones. There are bug, normal, fighting, flying, poison, electric, ground, psychic, rock, ice, dragon, ghost, dark, steel, and fairy types.

Generation four Pokemon's are found in Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum versions.
This fire type Pokemon is called Chimchar and it evolves into Monferno and Infernape.
This water type Pokemon is called Piplup and it evolves into Prinplup and Empoleon.
This Pokemon is called Oshawott and it evolves into Dewott and Samurott.
This Pokemon is called Snivy and it evolves into Servine and Serperior.
This Pokemon is called Tepig and it evolves into Pignite and Emboar.
This Pokemon is called Froakie and its evolution are yet to be announced.
This Pokemon is called Chespin and its evolutions are yet to be announced.
This Pokemon is called Fennekin and its evolutions are yet to be announced.
Generation five Pokemon's are found in Pokemon Black, Black Two, White, and White Two versions.
Generation six pokemon's are found in Pokemon X and Y versions.
