goverments are ingnoring the facts
people are taken against will
make money for captors from sex
"Sex trafficking means the recruitment, harboring, transportation, provision, or obtaining of a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act; any sex act on account of which anything of value is given to or received by any person"(The Justice Department and Sex Trafficking). ages from 10 to 30 years old (Kristof and Wudunn).
can stay in trafficking until there "not a profit" people can be tricked by being promised different things, when in really it's just a trap (Outlawing Russia's Sex Traders). most common are underdeveloped countries and countries that have a poorly inforced government (Horvitz and Catherwood). the number of victims of sex trafficking is growing yearly physical and mental effects
pays for illegal acts; terrorism, drugs, ect (Binder).
