No dan a quién no acude CHINESE AND SPANISH IDIOMS CHINESE He that would have the fruit must climb the tree SPANISH Once there was a boy named Xiao Wang. He likes to play basketball. He decides to tryout for basketball at his school. He wants to be one the school basketball team to compete with others. But his friends made fun of him. They asked "You are not tall enough, what makes you think you are able to get picked?" He says: Don't underestimate yourself, for humans have unlimited potential. Xiao Wang almost decided not to go to the tryouts, but he still went. Even though he wasn't tall enough, he played much better than the others. CONNECTION Both are about the determination. The Spanish says that in order to get the fruit, one must be determined to climb the tree to get the fruit.
The Chinese also talks about determination and human potential.
