Honey bees are the main pollinators for many of our crops.
We would have to hand pollinate

Beekeeping Career Salary
Part time or hobbyist bee keepers may average around $20,000 per year, generally tending to their bees on nights and weekends while primarily holding a job in another field.

Additional income may be earned if a beekeeper produces and markets honey or beeswax products. Another earning option is selling starter or replacement bees to other beekeeping operations.
Education Required
Though a degree isn't required for this field, most beekeepers have an undergraduate degree in an animal science.
Typical Day/Duties
They keep an eye on the health of their hives.
They are sometimes required to work long hours, outside of course, and even holidays and weekends.
Beekeepers need to wear a lot of protective gear to ensure they are well protected.
They are in charge of dividing colonies, replacing queen bees, and other general maintenance.
