Boy's Life During the Taliban
Life After the Taliban
The Taliban executed men for shaving their beards.
Many men had the change the way they dressed everyday.
Men also had to go out and get grocery's and do stuff that women would normally do outside of their home.
Many people got many new looks such as clothes, haircuts, technology and music because they aren't as isolated.
Many people say that it still isn't back to how it was before the Taliban.
Their are still some people getting killed by the Taliban but most people that are getting killed are politicians and law enforcemnt officers.
Girl's Life During the Taliban
Life in Swat, Pakistan
Girls got treated very badly by the Taliban.
In 2012 Malala (Activist fighting for girls education) got shot in the head by the Taliban on the way home from school.
2007-2011 more than 400 schools got destroyed.
Many girls had to change what they were wearing because it wasn't "Islamic enough".
The Taliban would execute girls/women for dancing and if they went out in public with someone besides a man from their family.
