Did You Know?
Did you know that pigs aren't just bacon and ham? Did you ever think of pigs for other reasons besides meat? Well pigs actually are used for more than just meat, in fact a lot more as you'll learn from this presentation. We use the parts of swine that we can't eat for multiple other reasons. Surgeons have replaced over 35,000 sick or damaged human hearts or heart valves with swine hearts and heart valves due to their similarity in function and size. Swine are not ruminant

animals like cattle and sheep, there diet is strictly corn, soymeal, and sometimes leftovers that we enhance with viatims. They also have many other purposes such as insulin which is extracted from the pancreus and other purposes like toothpaste- which they use glycerine texturize it. And these are just a few of many purposes!
