Mathew Knowles and Celestine Ann "Tina" Beyincé gave birth to Beyoncé Giselle Knowles Carter born on September 4,1981 at Houston,Texas.Beyonce father is of African descent while her mother is a Louisiana Creole, has African, French, and Native American ancestry. Beyonce got her name from her mother maiden name Beyince.Beyonce has a younger sister named Solange Piaget Knowles is a recording artist and actress.At the age of 8 Beyoncé and her childhood friend Kelly Rowland met LaTavia Roberson while in an audition for an all-girl entertainment group. while They were auditioning they were placed into a group with three other girls as Girl's Tyme, they rapped danced and sing seeing the group, R&B producer Arne Frager brought them to his Northern California studio and placed them in Star Search.Girl's tyme lost but Matthew seek this as an opportunity to quit his job and help his daugther dream become reality so he cut the original line off to four girls which soon to become Destiny Child.

Beyonce is known for her versatile voice that one describe as capable of exploring power ballads, soul, rock belting, operatic flourishes, and hip hop.Some say she capable of punctuating any beat.Beyonce ranges to different genres such as R&B,hip hop,pop,soul and recorded several Spanish songs such as Irreemplazable and her re-release of B'Day.Beyonce is also well known for having a wide-ranging sex appeal she has been describe as Bootylicious the term she used in one of her song while she was with Destiny child.In Magazine she named "World's Most Beautiful Woman" by People Hottest Female Singer of All Time" by Complex 100 Sexiest Women of the 21st Century" list by GQ.Beyoncé has earned numerous awards and honors. As a solo artist she has sold over 13 million albums in the US, and over 118 million records worldwide plus 60 million from Destiny child making her one of the best-selling music artists of all time.Beyoncé has won 17 Grammy Awards, both as a solo artist and member of Destiny's Child, making her the third most honored female artist by the Grammys.
Obstacles they have overcome
During Destiny Child LeToya Luckett and Roberson became unhappy with Mathew's managing of the band and eventually were replaced by Farrah Franklin and Michelle Williams.Beyoncé experienced depression following the split with Luckett and Roberson after being blamed by the media, critics, and blogs for its cause.
in May 2001, Luckett and Roberson filed a lawsuit claiming that the songs from Destiny Child third album survivor were aimed at them.
In 2006, the animal rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals , criticized Beyoncé for wearing and using fur in her clothing line House of Deréon.
In the African-American community they criticism Beyoncé's lighter skin color and costuming.

Contributions they made to the society
After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, Beyoncé and Rowland founded the Survivor Foundation to provide housing for victims in the Houston area,Beyoncé contributed $250,000. The foundation has since expanded to work with other charities in the city,and also provided relief following Hurricane Ike three years later.
Beyoncé participated in George Clooney and Wyclef Jean's Hope for Haiti Now: A Global Benefit for Earthquake Relief telethon and was named the official face of the limited edition CFDA "Fashion For Haiti" T-shirt, and raised a total of $1 million,
Beyoncé and her mother Tina opened the Beyoncé Cosmetology Center at the Brooklyn Phoenix House, offering a seven-month cosmetology training course for men and women. L'Oréal donated all the products to be used at the center, and Beyoncé and Tina pledged to donate $100,000 annually.
Beyoncé became an ambassador for the 2012 World Humanitarian Day campaign donating her song "I Was Here" and its music video, shot in the UN, to the campaign.
