Transcript of GreenHouse Effect
There are layers of greenhouse gases. Some are carbon dioxide, water vapor, and nitrous oxide. These act like a thermal blanket for the Earth. They absorb heat and warm the surface for an average of 59 degrees Fahrenheit.
How is it cause?
How can/is this being prevented?
Greenhouse effect does not cause any problems, in fact without the greenhouse gases being trapped in the atmosphere, the Earth would be freezing. If the greenhouse effect didn't exist, the average temperature of the earth would decrease from 14C (57F) to the lowest being -18C (-0.4F).
What problems does it cause?

What species are affected?
How are Humans affected?
Any other interesting facts?
Humans are affected by the climate from greenhouse. With out it we would freeze. So it keeps us alive.
Where in the world is this a Problem?
This is not a problem at all, this pretty much gives us the ablilty to live on Earth. But to much of it, makes climate change and global warming.
It affects all living things. Many human activites/things (planes, cars, trucks) add greenhouse gases to the atmosphere, as the level of these gases rise, the temperature of the Earth rises as well. Also, animals and plants release carbon dioxide into the air when breathe.
When the Earth's atmosphere becomes thick with gases and substances which trap the sun's heat, making the Earth warmer.
The Greenhouse effect isnt a bad thing, so we dont want it to be prevented. You might hear people talking about the greenhouse effect as if it is a bad thing. It is not a bad thing, but people are concerned because Earth’s greenhouse is warming up very rapidly.
Most greenhouse gases in our atmosphere are created by natural climatic processes, so the greenhouse effect is a natural effect.
Our atmosphere is composed of about 78% nitrogen gas, 21% oxygen gas, a small amount of water vapor, and other trace gases
