Transcript of What is the World Wide Web?

What is the World Wide Web? Twitter Teachers could remind
students of homework.
Or when they did good
in class they could
tell them that.
Students could also
help other students
if they’re having trouble with work.
Podcast Teachers could
podcast the lessons
so if the kids
forget it they could
listen to the podcast.
Also stidents wouldn’t
have to take notes, they
could listen to the podcast
if they forget.
Blog Students could
blog about the
things you want
to do in class
and how the teacher
could go about
doing it in an
interesting way.
- For example, blogspot.com
Flickr Students could upload pictures
from history and add notes about
them or upload them to a website
that could help you present the
pictures in a way other than a
power point. Pandora Students could make a playlist on Pandora for a presentation they're making in school.
Social Networking We already use social networking sites, with think.com. With these sites we could communicate with other students and talk about our work and help eachother if
we’re having trouble.

use online bookmarks
to save pages that they
need to use for
information in a
presentation.

We could use wiki for online files that we can all edit with out having to download different documents.
