Imagining all the good things they can do together.
started as a whisper...~ could here the Chit Chat...
It spread like wildfire
made my lips hurt (Imagery)- vivid picture of bitten lips. / connotation= made a move, but the girl wasn't up for it
addiction (connotation) - being enslaved of something. Hard to get rid of... OBSESSION
Trash talk (connotation)= gossip
A false reputation was made perhaps...
Metaphor- person compared to a drug & a prescription
The topic of the "talk" compared or expressed as "Trash"
everybody's words got in the way...(Paradox)
other peoples words=obstacles
love shelter (oxymoron)- love=romantic ---> Shelter=poor
You can't ignore others how hard you try, They are part of what you have to get over with, to achieve your goals in your life.
Everybody talks= repetition
Repeated to show the tiredness of it
(Sick of people gossiping)
Since everybody's talking it can be expressed as... "will you please shut up?"
