Viva Voce Tonight Alive By Ebony Middleton and Alannah Newell 10 Facts About Tonight Alive 1. Tonight Alive is an Australian band from Sydney. WIth Jenna McDougall as lead female vocals, Whakaio on lead guitar and backing vocals, Jake Hardy on Rhythm guitar, Cam Adler on bass and back up vocals and Matt Best on the drums. 2. They formed in early 2009. 3. Their music fits the genre known as pop-punk. 4. Tonight Alive have played an entire Warped Tour. 5. They are signed to fearless records. 6. They self funded their debut EP. (All Shapes And Disguses). 7. The music video for 'Wasting Away' was released the same month as the album 'All Shapes And Disguises'. 8.Mark Hoppus from the band Blink 182 provided 'guest' vocals in the Tonight Alive song ' Thank You and Good Night" 9. Tonight Alive has been described as the Australian 'Paramore'. 10. Their song Amelia was written for a close friend who died in a skiing accident. MELODY : The main melody of the song is provided by lead female vocals. These vocals are fairly high, strong and steady.
