PHILOSOPHY AT BEAVER ALIEN ANTHROPOLOGY By Will Brown & Annaliese Campbell

Beavers Philosophies

Yergle mistrey pingle plorf harbed yibin yoller dorg. Oh sorry I meant to say hello. I am Will and this is Annaliese we come from the planet Dingobaby. We have come to study the ideas and interactions of Beaver Country Day School. This is what we have learned
Beaver used to be an all girls school, but when other schools changed to co-ed schools, so did Beaver. Overall Beaver has a unique type of learning that is different from other schools.

Beaver bases itself off of hands on learning, and is built off of John Dewey’s thoughts and ideas. Teachers at Beaver try to make learning interesting, engaging and relating to the real world. At Beaver, everyone learns from each other and everyone learns in different ways, not just students learning from teachers. Teachers at Beaver love teaching what they’re teaching. Teachers at Beaver have less traditional philosophies than teachers at other schools and teachers have a similar philosophy so students have a consistent learning experience. Beaver’s philosophy has not changed much, but new things get added and built off of it. Do you have any questions?
