Transcript of My Lai Massacre

My Lai was the Vietnam war mass killing of between 347 and 504 unamed civilians in South Vietnam on March 16, 1968.
It was committed by the U.S Army solider; the victims included men's, women's, children's, and infants
Some of the women were gang raped and their bodies mutilated, and twenty six soldier were charged with criminal offense
The massacre was later called the most shocking episode of the Vietnam War
When the killing and cover-up were exposed the public were outrage and only three U.S. Army service men tried to stop them
