- Philip Kindred Dick was an American novelist, short story writer, essayist and philosopher whose published work is almost entirely accepted in the science fiction genre
- Blade Runner, Total Recall, A Scanner Darkly and Minority Report
. His influence is a ubiquitous filter that can be felt in the entirety of modern Science Fiction, that which imagines dystopias or questions the very nature of reality as an illusion or simulation.
