Students will finalise their issue and begin researching.
Lesson 2:
Structure of the oral presentation
Lesson 1: Finalise your issue, begin researching and begin to establish your contention and three supporting arguments.
Subsequent lessons: Finalising structure and rehearsing
Access the resources on Compass.
Follow the suggested structure
Write your speech out word for word and time it.
Submit it to the teacher for editing
Write another draft
Time yourself presenting it
Make further editing changes
Create cue cards
Rehearse
