His father was a clergyman
He served ten years as the Virginia Attorney General
He served multiple terms in the House of Delegates
James was the president and clerk of Virginia's Board of War
He saw action at battles of Trenton, Princeton, Brandywine, and Germantown
A Day in the Life
When I wake up in the morning I ride on my horse to the House of Delegates. When my work is done I go home to eat and then go to bed.
