Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel
Transcript of Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel
The Third Wheel By: Jeff Kinney Greg Heffley Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Third Wheel In this book I learned that just becuase somebody tells you, you can't do something dosent mean there right. I also learned that with teamwork you can accomplish many things and make people happy. About the Author: Jeff Kinney was born on February 19
1971, and grew up in Fort Washington
Maryland. When he was little he loved to read and eventually went on to the University of Maryland. After he got out he moved to New England and soon after had the idea of a Middle school kid who faces many problems and challenges that might of happened to him. That is how the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series started. Greg Heffley is a middle school kid that faces many problems and challenges. In this book he faces troubles with his brother and with his friends at school. At the beginning of the story Greg Heffley talks about his brother, Manny getting everything new when Greg gets hand-me-downs from his brother Rodrick. Latter Greg has to find a date to the Valentines Day dance but really isn't really good at that and struggles to find one in time for the dance. In the last few days he finds a nice girl that goes to his church to go to the dance. At the end they go to the dance and have good time but Greg's date sees her boyfriend going to the dance with someone else and then starts crying. After all Rowley, his friend makes a better impression on Greg's date than Greg. Theme 1: The first theme in this story is "just be yourself"
because the book show Rowley being himself
and Greg trying to act cool and Rowley gets
the girl. I would recommend this book to person who loves to learn lessons that you can use anywhere and for people who like books that are funny. www.famousauthors.org Another example of the theme is Greg wanted
for a kid at school to be his friend. He tried to act cool in front of him and the person started to dislike him. Another example of the theme
is when the kids at Greg's school
tried to act tough by tearing a book
but couldn't so they embarrassed themselves. Greg Heffley Trying to act cool but acting like a fool
