What is Famine?
"Famine, a widespread scarcity of food, caused by several factors including crop failure, population instability, or government politics.This phenomenon is usually accompanied or followed by regional malnutrition, starvation, epidemic, and increased mortality."
What Causes Famine?
Famine can be caused by a multitude of factors. These factors include but are not limited by:
crop failure
population imbalance
government policies
drought
disease
war
erratic weather
and floods

Somalia
Ireland
Vietnam
North Korea
Russia
Bengal
Ethiopia
Zambia
Zimbabwe
etc
Is There Relief Care for Countries Effected by Famine
There is in fact relief care for countries effected by famine. This care is provided by DERA (Disaster Preparedness and Emergency Response Association, as well as FH (Food for the Hungry)
What Does Relief Care for Famine Provide?
Relief care for countries effected by fame can consist of but is not limited to support in the allocation of food as well as water for civilians and crops.
