A fine dining silver service Silver Service What is silver service? The table is set for a entre'e, soup, main
courses and dessert. The waiter serves food from silver platters using a silver fork and spoon, directly from the platter on to your plate. Rules of Silver service Silver services are always served from the left
Meals are served to the customer
They are not plated in the kitchen
Plates are cleaned from the right
Glasses are stacked in a diagonal to the right and away Origin Silver service originated from manners
country seats and fine houses of British middle and upper classes. The 'butler service' is a sister term of Silver Service.
