The founder of Rhode Island was Roger Williams and he founded it in 1636 and the region Rhode Island is in is New England. The founder of Connecticut is Thomas Hooker he founded it in 1636 the region is New England.

Farming was very difficult for crops like wheat because of the poor soil. Although corn,pumpkins,rye,squash,and beans were planted.
