Food & Farming The Adi are subsistence farmers and use shifting cultivation to work the thin mountain soil. Rice and some form of vegetables is eaten but ocassiona;;y they have animal to eat from the rainforest. They use bamboo and timber from the surrounding forest to construct the frame.
