If you are starting to venture out into living on a farm, planning is essential. You'll need know exactly what supplies and machinery you will need. If this is your very first experience farming, there are some very basic farming must-haves that you'll need.

A Sturdy Truck
Every farmer needs a pick-up truck. A farm covers a lot of land and you'll need the right equipment to be able to haul any number of things from one end to the other. Having a great truck is a smart investment, it will save you time and hard work.
Have you ever seen a farm without a tractor? No? Well there are plenty of good reasons why you haven't. This essential piece of equipment allows you to plow your fields, harvest your crop or start your season by seeding your land.
There will be plenty of daily chores that will require some of the basic tools like a hoe, shovel or rake. A good pair of work gloves is also a basic must. They will protect your hands from damage that comes from a day of hard work.
Agricultural Steel Buildings
Once you have the basic equipment to get your farm started you'll need a place to protect them from the elements. Barns have come a long way since the 50's. Having this building made from steel will insure your equipment is protected for a lifetime.
