Transcript of Ashleigh's Autobiography

Ashleigh Simpson
I was born at the Copley Hospital at 7:39 at night on March 18, 1995
I've lived in Waterbury all my life and I moved once when I was 1 year old but we only moved like a quater of a mile away.
My earliest memory is a thunderstorm at our house when I was about 3 years old and lighting hit a tree in our yard and it fell down.
My scariest memory is when one night my grandma didn't come home and we were trying to find her for about a week and we ended up finding her in the South Bronx.
My favorites are; Books:The Truth About Forever, The Hobbit, and Walk Two Moons. Authors: Sarah Dessen, J.R.R Tolkien, Natasha Friend. Movies: The Princess Bride, The Chipmunks, The Lion King. Television programs: Glee, American Idol and Top Chef. Musical instruments: Piano, guitar and flute. Music groups: The Fray, Journey, Train. Songs: You Found Me, How to Save a Life, Love Story. Food: pizza, ice cream, and macaroni and cheese.

Friendship to me means that they care about you, they know when to stop joking around, and they know how to cheer you up.
My mom is who I look up to because she started her own business and she had the courage to try something like that and I admire that.
Things I like about me are that I'm musically talented and smart and I have curly hair.
I am most like my dad in the way I act, but people say I look a lot like my Aunt Mary and my Grannie Annie.
One of my happiest moments in life was when I went to Disney World with my family.
Some of my challenges are talking to people I don’t know because I’m shy, I try to be more outgoing because I know it will help me later in life.
If I could change anything, I would make it so that there was more peace in the world.
My worst moment in school was when I almost got a detention for chewing gum.
My favorite thing about school right now is that I have control over my school work and I manage it well.
