In energy transfer, happens from one object to another without changing its form. For example, when you fill a pot of water and sit it on the stove, the water continues to heat until you turn it off.

Explain what energy efficiency is.
Energy efficiency is about achieving 'more with less' by utilising the energy we use, to meet our needs and avoid energy waste, to achieve the same or greater results for our homes and businesses.
Star ratings have been developed to provide consumers with an easy way of comparing the energy efficiency of different models. In April 2010 (in Australia), the star rating system has been updated for refrigerators and air conditioners to recognise super efficient products.
