Great writers
paint pictures
for their readers by using descriptive details and sentences
that SHOW the reader
instead of just telling them.
His room is messy.
The witch is ugly.
That house looks scary.
Examples of BORING sentences that "tell" something instead of SHOWING something:

That house looks scary.

The witch is ugly.

His room is messy.
Pick one of the boring sentences and rewrite it.
SHOW

the reader using detailed, descriptive sentences.
VOICE LEVEL= 0
In 10 minutes, a few can "share out" in the Author's chair!
