Canary Islands are in the Atlantic Ocean near the African continent to 300 kilometres and to the peninsula about 1.342 kilometres.There are seven Islands in total and the islets: Isla de Lobos, La Graciosa, Alegranza, Montaña Clara, Roque del Este and Roque del Oeste. Tenerife, Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura are the biggest islands; Lanzarote, La Palma, and La Gomera are small and El hierro is the smallest.

Canary Islands this year have about 2.105.000 persons in all the islands.
Tenerife has about 906.854 persons; Gran Canaria has about 845.676 persons; Fuerteventura has about 103.167 persons; Lanzarote has about 141.938 persons; La Palma has about 89.996 persons; La Gomera has about 22.769 persons; El Hierro has about 10.892 persons; and 658 persons in La Graciosa
