MACEDONIA map climate Macedonia has warm dry summers and autumns and cold winters with heavy snowfall. Government The government of Macedonia is a parliamentary representative democratic republic. Where by the Prime Minister is the head of the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and parliament. Judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature. History Macedonia is located in the center of the Southern Balkans, north of ancient Hellas Greece east of Illyria and west of Thrace.The name Macedoni is the oldest surviving name of a country on the continent of Europe Alexander III the Great (356-323 BC) carries the Macedonian armies into Asia and conquers the Persian Empire. Macedonia becomes the world’s largest Empire stretching from Europe, to North Africa and India. Macedonia produces a wide range of crops and other foodstuffs. Farmers grow rice, tobacco, wheat, corn, millet, cotton, sesame, mulberry leaves, citrus, and vegetables; beef, pork, poultry, mutton, and dairy products are also produced. Agriculture Macedonia education system can be classified into two broad divisions i.e., pre-higher and higher education system.
