About The Rainforest By:Ken H. What are rainforests? Rainforests have a warm climate They also have tall trees and it rains alot! Rainforest on the island of Borneo,Malaysia Where are rainforests found? Rainforests can be found in Africa,Asia,Australia,and Central and south America Specific countries have rainforests. They are: Brazil, Congo, Peru, Indonesia, Colombia, Papua New Guinea, Venezuela, Bolivia, Mexico, and Suriname. Picture of the Amazon Rainforest What makes a rainforest? Tropical rainforests have to be in the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer This is a map of the Tropics of Capricorn and Cancer Rainforests have atleast 200 cm of rain per year! Thats why they call it a rainforest What is a rainforest canopy? The rainforest canopy is about 100ft above the rainforest's floor,most animals and birds live on the canopy of the forest too. The canopy is also the warmest area of the rainforest.Mostly at day! What is the rainforest floor? The rainforest floor is mostly dark because it's covered by so many leaves,it is also home of most of the biggest animals of the rainforest This is a video of a tropical rainforest BLue: Polar region
