Magdalyn Ewen VOLLEYBALL SET SPIKE RULES PASS USING YOUR FOREARMS TO CONTACT THE BALL WITHOUT STOPPING THE MOTION OF THE BALL USING YOUR HANDS TO CONTACT THE BALL OVERHEAD WITH OUT STOPPING THE BALLS MOTION KEEP THE BALL INSIDE THE COURT LINES DON'T LET THE BALL HIT THE GROUND ON YOUR SIDE OF THE COURT IF YOU DO THE OTHER TEAM GETS A POINT AND GETS TO SERVE THE BALL MUST CONSTANTLY BE IN MOTION AND CANNOT BE CAUGHT BY A PLAYER YOU CANNOT TOUCH ANY PART OF THE NET COMMON TERMS COURT SIZE 30X30 FOR EACH TEAM'S SIDE OF THE COURT IT IS PLAYED ON A WOODEN COURT WITH PAINTED LINES AROUND THE BOUNDRIES THE ONLY DIFFERENCE FROM MEN'S AND WOMEN'S VOLLEY BALL IS A HIGHER NET FOR MEN HOW DO YOU PLAY? .... SIMPLE BE THE FIRST TEAM TO GET 25 POINTS BY PASSING, SETTING, AND SPIKING THE BALL YOU GET POINTS WHEN......... A PLAYER FROM THE OTHER TEAM HITS THE BALL AND IT LANDS OUT OF BOUNDS OR..... IF THE BALL LANDS IN BOUNDS ON THE OTHER TEAMS SIDE OF THE COURT OR... IF THE OTHER TEAM COMMITS A FOUL SUCH AS STOPPING THE BALLS MOVEMENT OR TOUCHING THE NET EQUIPMENT KNEEPADS OPTIONAL.... TWO POLES TO HANG THE NET AND THAT'S IT! THEN THERES THE OFFICIALS.... 2 LINE JUDGES WHO STAND IN ADJACENT CORNERS AND WATCH IF THE BALL LANDS IN OR OUT AND 2 OFFICIALS WHO STAND AT THE NET AND WATCH FOR ALL OTHER VIOLATIONS THE PEOPLE COACHES ONE HEAD COACH AND ONE ASSISTANT COACH PER TEAM THEY LET US KNOW WHAT WE NEED TO CHANGE THEY SCOUT THE OTHER TEAM DURING GAMES THEY MAKE US BETTER ATHLETES ATHLETES SIX PEOPLE ON THE COURT
AT A TIME USUALLY TWELVE PEOPLE PER TEAM THEY PASS, SET AND SPIKE THE BALL IN COMBINATIONS THAT GET THE THE MOST AMOUNT OF POINTS SO THEY CAN WIN!!!!! CONTACTING THE BALL OVERHEAD WITH ONE HAND IN A DOWNWARD SWINING MOTION
