Transcript of Badminton
Thank you for your attention :)
the most common forms of the game are "singles" (with one player per side) and "doubles" (with two players per side).
You can use natural, feathered shuttle or synthetic, non-feathered shuttle in badminton.
Badminton rackets consist of stringed hitting surface attached to a thin shaft and a handle. The racket must have a flat face, with a uniform pattern of overlapping strings.
An official badminton net must measure 5 feet high in the center, and 5 feet, 1 inch at the sides.
Match comprise of the three games.
The badminton player gets point if the opponent does mistake it means that you have to hit your shuttle so that it passes over the net and lands inside your opponent’s half of the court.
The mistake is also if the shuttle falls into the net or out of the playing field, if it hits the ceiling or also if it touches a player or his clothing .
You must hit the shuttle only once before it goes over the net.
In total, there are five types of badminton:
Mixed doubles (each team is a man and a woman)
The shuttle, which landed on the line is evaluated as valid.
The modern game of badminton was developed in the mid-19th century among the British as a variant of the earlier game of battledore (an older term for "racquet") and shuttlecock.
