their corresponding (matchinig) angles are congruent

the ratio of their corresponding sides are in proportion Let's take a closer look at corresponding angles The pairs of corresponding angles in the above triangles are:
C=F If these two triangles are similar triangles, then the measure of the corresponding angles would be congruent, or have the same measure.
