Pronove Elementary School JAKE The Magnificent General Problem How to design, develop and implement an Educational RPG about Science and Health that will serve as a supplementary tool in the educational learning of Grade V Students of Ricardo A. Pronove Elementary School (RPES)? Specific Problems How to incorporate computer game in Science and Health? How to develop a computer role playing game that will serve as additional reference to the grade V students? How to develop computer role playing game that will improve student’s analytical skill in learning Science and Health through the strategy of the game? How to build a computer role playing game with user-friendly and interactive environment? How to develop a computer role playing game that will incorporate multimedia elements like graphics, audiovisual effects and animations to capture the interest of the students and serve as motivational tool for them? General Objective The study aims to design, develop and implement an Educational RPG about Science and Health that will serve as a supplementary tool in the educational learning of Grade V Students of Ricardo A. Pronove Elementary School (RPES) by the end of school year 2012-2013. Specific Objectives •To incorporate computer game in Science and Health, particularly the topics such as Animals, Plants, Energy and Machines, Earth and the Solar System. •To develop a computer role playing game that will serve as additional reference to the grade V students by giving trivia and brief information about a certain question. • To develop computer role playing game that will improve student’s analytical skill in learning Science and Health through the strategy and types of the game like text twist and Where in the Planet Earth?. •To build a computer role playing game with user-friendly and interactive environment by using a good quality software. •To develop a computer role playing game that will incorporate multimedia elements like graphics, audiovisual effects and animations to capture the interest of the students and serve as motivational tool for them.
