Transcript of HINDUISM DOCTRINAL DIMENSION

HINDUISM USING DOCTRINAL DIMENSION
The most important and oldest doctrine to the Hindu belief is that of the four Vedas, written in the ancient Sanskrit language. These four sacred texts are divided into the Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur Veda and Atharva Veda. They contain holy hymns and ritual practices from ancient India. These doctrines focus on how the individual’s soul (Atman) can reach the ultimate truth (Brahman) through focused meditation and karma.

HINDUISM DOCTRINAL DIMENSION
Doctrines are recorded in scriptures or other types of sacred texts, so are myths as well.
The Bible itself reveals those doctrines that are essential to the Christian faith. They are 1) the Deity of Christ, 2) Salvation by Grace, 3) Resurrection of Christ, 4) the gospel, and 5) monotheism. These are the doctrines the Bible says are necessary. Though there are many other important doctrines, these five are the ones that are declared by Scripture to be essential (I call them primary essentials since the Bible declares them as essential). A non-regenerate person (i.e., Mormon or Jehovah's Witness, atheist, Muslim), will deny one or more of these essential doctrines. Please note that there are other derivative doctrines of scripture that become necessary also and the Trinity being one.
Sanskrit is the oldest doctrine of the Hindu religeon.
The oldest book in the Christian bible is Genesis
Both Hinduism and Christianity have sacred texts.
Hinduism believes in many gods while Christianity believes in only one.
Hinduism is much older than Christianity.
