Fitness Components
Revision Health-related Fitness components Skill-related Fitness Components Aerobic Capacity Anaerobic Capacity Muscular Strength Muscular Endurance Flexibility Muscular Power Body Composition Speed Agility Coordination Balance Reaction Time The ability of the cardiovascular and respiratory system to supply nutrients and oxygen to the muscles and the ability of the muscles to use the oxygen for sustained exercise The total amount of work done by the anaerobic energy systems The maximal force that can be generated by a muscle or muscle group in 1 maximal effort
The ability of the muscle or muscle group to perform repeated contractions for an extended period of time or maintain a contraction The capability of a joint to move through its full range of motion, and reflects the ability of the muscle and connective tissues to stretch
The body is made up of fat and muscle, organ and other materials. It can be measure by calculating fat-mass or fat-free mass The ability of the muscle or muscle group to exert a force rapidly The rate of motion of an object in sport, speed is how fast you can move your body (or a body part) from one point to another A rapid, whole-body movement with change in velocity or direction in response to a stimulus The execution of a skill smoothly and accurately Maintaining equilibrium while stationary (static balance) or moving (dynamic balance) The time it takes the body to react to an external stimulus Influenced by..
