When searching for books, students must use the search portal HyDi, which can be accessed through the University of Malta Library website.

http://www.um.edu.mt/library

To help you find a book easily on the shelves, make sure you take note of : -

the Shelfmark – all books have a shelfmark which indicates their subject matter and gives the book an exact position on the shelves
the Barcode number – required to reserve a book if it is on loan.

Demonstrations on how to use HyDi are given by librarians.
