The Carbon Cycle Carbon leaves the Atmosphere through roots of plants. next it goes into the roots of plants Than an animal eats the grass and plants After the animal eats the plant, than it goes into death and decomposition. after the death and decomposition of the animal it makes fossil fuels. Death and Decomposition releases carbon back into the atmosphere Fossil fuels also releases carbon into the atmosphere Carbon also leaves the atmosphere through photosynthesis. Carbon also leaves into the atmosphere through combustion. Carbon goes into the Atmophere through cellular resperation
