Living and Nonliving Things

Is a cow a living or a nonliving thing?
A cow is a living thing.

What Characteristics do cows have that let us know that they are living things?
All living things need:
* Food
* Water
* Air
In science, a living thing is anything that is or has been alive. A nonliving thing is something that has never been alive.
Okay scientists, it is time to put your
problem solving hats on!
