Stress Management
What is stress?
Stress is a reaction to particular events or circumstances that are seen as challenging or threatening.
It is an ancient survival mechanism which helped us mobilize in life-threatening situations.
This mechanism is still active and now responds to a fear of "symbolic threat/death".
(e.g., failing = academic death,
humiliation = social death)
