Michigan Greece Greece has a Mediterranean Climate. Their winters are mild and wet and the summers are hot and dry. The spring and fall are not to hot and not to cold. The temperatures can range between 40 degrees to 75 degrees Fahrenheit. The yearly total of rain is about 60 inches. If you travel from Michigan to Greece from May 13, 2013 to May 23, 2013 it will cost you a total of $1,142 for a round trip. In Greece there are many fun things to do. First you can go climbing on the island of Kaylmos. It has a gaint limestone amphitheater. Then you can bask on the colorful, crystalline beaches of Santorini! You can also conquer the top of Mt. Olympus. It ranges from Athens-Thessaloniki. Here you can go paragliding, rafting, climbing, mountain biking, and go on a jeep safari. Here are some sights to see in Greece!
First, you can go to the Greek National Opera in Athens and watch classical opera. Then go to the capital of Evia Island, Chalkida. Its famous for its old (sliding) Bridge Negroponte. You can watch the famous tidal phenomenon which depends on the gravitational forces of the moon. Enjoy the beauty! Pay a visit to Rhodes. The old (medieval) city with narrow alleys, small houses, and imposing knightly biuldings, surrounded by some 200 medieval houses. The main dishes in Greece are seafood and olives. They eat traditional salads with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. For dessert many people eat baklava, which is a type of pastry. Greek Phrases A famous artist from Greece is El Greco.
