ABRAHAM LINCOLN On February 12, 1809 Abraham Lincoln was born. In his early years he lived in the woods and worked in his town he became a captain in the military. He was Presbyterian and he never went to any church. He was born in Hardin County, Kentucky He spent his time working and reading. He had to teach himself to become smart. He helped his dad build a wood House. He did not go to any college because they did not have the money, and then he worked as a clerk, store owner, military, and lawyer.
Abraham Lincoln was a Republican during his time of presidency. He got married on November 4, 1842 to Mary Todd. His children were Robert, Edward, William, Thomas. He was the sixtieth President of the United States. He was fifty two years old at inauguraton. Hannibal Hamlin and Andrew Johnson were the vice presidents at the time. He was shot in the head by John Wilks Booth and died soon after!
